The U.S. Youth FUTSAL I.D. program identifies and develops elite players in a highly competitive and challenging environment. These events were previously known as FUTSAL I.D. Regional Camps. Top players from each Regional Camp were invited to participate in the U.S. Youth Futsal National I.D. Camps where the best of the best were selected for the U.S. Youth Futsal National Teams.
Two exciting changes have taken place. The names of the events have been changed from Futsal I.D. Regional Camps to FUTSAL I.D. State Trials. The second significant change is how the FUTSAL I.D. Trials will be delivered.
Instead of having only five multi-state Regional I.D. camps that required extensive travel for many players, the FUTSAL I.D. Trials will be delivered at the state level. Offering State FUTSAL I.D. Trials closer to the player’s home will provide chances for many more players to participate. The top players from each State Trial are invited to participate in the U.S. Youth Futsal National I.D. Trial for three days of training and matches. The U.S. Youth Futsal National Teams are selected from the National Trials.
Assembling the very best Futsal players to train and compete under the guidance of the United States National Coaching Staff assures the highest level of futsal development possible.
FUTSAL I.D. Trials are available to boys and girls born 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007.
Players may attend a FUTSAL I.D. Trial in any state – if your state has a Trial date that you can not attend feel free to sign up for any State I.D. Trial.
Full-time U.S. Soccer Academy players are only permitted to participate in the U.S. Youth FUTSAL I.D. program during the Academy Off Season and upon written permission from the applicable Academy Director of Coaching. Developmental players are eligible without restriction or requirement.
